On February 23rd, we completed our 15th day of production on "The Deceased Won't Desist!" and so far, so good. For day 15th, we went back to our old stomping grounds: Miceli's Restaurant in Universal City. Back in the 80s and 90s, we used Miceli's quite a bit. It was seen in Polish Vampire in Burbank, Curse of the Queerwolf, Deathrow Gameshow and Buford's Beach Bunnies.
We went back again and used their bar for a fun little scene, and now with technology being as advanced as it is, the location never looked better.
Joe Miceli, the owner of the restaurant, has always been so accommodating to us over the years, and it was very nostalgic to be filming back in his beautiful restaurant once again.
If you ever visit Universal City, I highly recommend your stopping by Miceli’s for lunch or dinner. In the evening, they have singing waiters and waitresses, which makes for an elegant and even romantic atmosphere. Tell them Pirro sent you.
