The documentary on the history of Pirromount Pictures called “Hollywood on a Shoestring” premiered at the Raindance Film Festival on October 30th. Producer of the documentary, Matt Devlen made sure that I was out there for it. So I spent six waterlogged days in London for not only the premiere of the documentary, but also a panel on low budget indie filmmaking.

The event started out with a panel of low budget filmmakers speaking about the pros and cons of making indie films like these. Then later that evening, “Hollywood on a Shoestring” premiered to a full house. Filmmaker Matt Devlen plans on entering this in more festivals around the world, and then I assume it will ultimately be parked on some streaming website one day. Keep checking this website for updates.
