It's finally available. Our 2017 romantic fantasy/comedy is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Celluloid Soul stars Dennis Kinard as Monty Suggins, a down and out writer who finds inspiration from Ida Beswick (Lauren Baldwin), an actress who starred in a few movies back in 1939. Once he sees her on the screen, he becomes mesmerized by her presence and does all he can to find out whatever became of this little known actress from the past.
He eventually finds out that she is still alive today and comes up with the idea of writing a movie about her life. However, when he finally meets her in the flesh, he thinks he’s losing his sanity when he sees that she is literally a living film clip come to life.
The film also features comedian Judy Tenuta along with many actors from the Pirromount entourage: John McCafferty, Bill Devlin, Jean Black, and Brad Mendelson.
