Director Pirro and actress Stef Dawson make the best out of a bad situation by adding production value to the film. Stef was actually in a real Emergency Room being treated for a Stingray sting that happened earlier in the day.

So around the beginning of July we were filming a scene at the beach and our actress Stef Dawson gets stung in the water by a stingray.  We all rush to the shore and immerse her foot in hot water to alleviate the pain.  However, that doesn’t work out very well and we decide to take her to the emergency room.  Once in the emergency room, we decide to pop off a few shots of her in character, being tended to.  That footage now is in our movie.  We’ve always been the type to take advantage of any serendipity that occurs and why should this be any different.  There is a scene in the script where Stef’s character’s mother tells the story of how her daughter was taken to a clinic for psychological evaluation.  Well, now we actually see what she’s talking about.
