Some of you have asked how we did the black and white effect in our film "Celluloid Soul." There were many different processes to achieve this effect - some high tech, some low tech. Although we used various techniques throughout the movie, here are two examples of what we did.

Visual effects can be a time-consuming and daunting task. And that’s no different for low budget FX as well. Here is a sampling of some of the visual effects work we did for our 2017 feature CELLULOID SOUL. The major effect we needed was to put a black and white character into a color world. It involved several different techniques. We also needed to create a car crash. And when you have no budget, it wouldn’t be cost-effective to destroy a car. So that was also done by CGI, which you will see in the demonstration below.
