Getting Aerial shot for Pirromount's film Celluloid Soul

Air shot for Pirromount's Celluloid Soul

We’re taking to the air for our new film, Celluloid Soul.  Drone pilot Ace Cruz worked with second unit director Craig Bassuk and director of photography Bruce Heinsius to work on a car accident scene that we are creating for our 2017 feature.  The drone will allow us to get some grand aerial shots for the cold opening of our movie.  Ace has been a friend to the Pirromount team for years (as far back as 1987 when he worked on our movie “Deathrow Gameshow”).

Principal photography is nearly complete. We still are finishing up the accident scene and then we have a few reshoots and tweaks, but for the most part, the filming is over. We are now in the throes of post production, which involve visual effects, dialog replacement, sound effects, foley and music. Hopefully we will be in the test screening phase by the spring of 2017.
